Gender Equality Action Plan

Council has endorsed the Gender Equality Action Plan 2022-2025. Under the Gender Equality Act 2020, Council is required to take positive action towards achieving workplace gender equality and to promote gender equality in policies, programs and services. The Act required Council to develop and implement a Gender Equality Plan, which details strategies for achieving workplace gender equality. The Plan has been reviewed and approved by the Commission for Gender Equality in the Public Sector. A report monitoring the progress of the actions within the Plan will be presented to Council on an annual basis. The Gender Equality Plan is available to view on Council’s website.
