Immunisation Sessions

To book an appointment, please call Council on 1300 666 535. The flu vaccination will be available at the following sessions at the cost of $30 per person. The vaccine is free to persons over 65 years and children aged 6 months to 5 years. Please bring your Medicare card.

Victoria Park Master Plan

Council is calling on the community to provide input into a review of the Echuca Victoria Park and Scenic Trail Master Plan. The plan was completed in 2019 and the review will take into account the major changes in the area associated with the Echuca Moama second bridge project.

Comments close on Friday, 29 April can be made via quick online comment form, or detailed questionnaire. 

Grant programs

  • Community Grants offer financial support to not-for-profit community organisations, groups and associations for projects, exhibitions and/or performances. The maximum grant amount is $4,000.
  • Business Assistance Grants assist businesses to either diversify or expand and also encourage new businesses to start up. There are four grant categories; start up/new business, small business, medium business and large business.

Applications close at 4pm on Friday, 15 April. If you require assistance with your application, contact Bobbi Aitken on 1300 666 535.

WicKED survey

Council is calling on the community to provide feedback on waste and the environment through the annual WickED (Waste in Campaspe – know, educate, do) survey. The data will guide the waste education program for the coming 12 months. The online survey closes Monday, 23 May.

Project Update

Dalton Road, Barnadown

Works to replace the floodway on Dalton Road, Barnadown, 2 kilometres east of River Road, are underway and progressing well.

Works Notice

Cohen Street, Rochester

Road and drainage works will be undertaken along Cohen Street, between Everard and Pascoe Streets, from Tuesday, 26 April. Works will include upgrades to the road surface, installation of new drainage, shaping the table drain and associated works. Road closures and detours will be in place during the construction period. Property access will be maintained. The works will take approximately six weeks to complete.
