Wednesday, 21 April

A limited number of people are now permitted to attend. Attendance is by application, with full details and online form available on Council’s website. The meeting can be viewed via live streaming at www.campaspe.vic.gov.au/livestreaming

Open for application

Volunteer awards – recognising the contribution of volunteers in three categories: an individual, a young person or organisation. Applications close Friday, 16 April.

Three grant programs are now open:

  • Business Assistance Grants – businesses can apply for funding to assist them diversify and expand and to encourage new businesses to start up. Four categories providing funds from $3,000 to a maximum of $10,000. Closing Friday, 23 April.
  • Community Grants – offering financial support to not-for-profit community organisations, groups and associations for projects, exhibitions, performances, up to a maximum of $4,000. Closing Friday, 23 April.
  • Creative Active Recovery Grants – providing a maximum of $5,000 to support businesses, community groups or individuals to deliver activities or projects before Wednesday, 30 June to support COVID recovery.

Accessible parking permits

Council is now processing parking permit applications online as part of our adoption of the new state-wide Accessible Parking Permit (APP) scheme.

Three different parking permits are issued under the scheme:

  • An Australian Disability Parking (ADP) Permit - formerly the Category 1 Blue disabled permit
  • A Double Time (DT) Permit - formerly the Category 2 Green permit
  • An ADP Organisation Permit – formerly Blue organisation permit

To apply for a permit or renew an existing permit, applicants should:

  1. Start your application online at accessibleparking.vic.gov.au
  2. You’ll receive an application reference number via SMS*
  3. Take your reference number to your GP or occupational therapist
  4. Your GP or occupational therapist will complete an online assessment and submit your application
  5. Your local council will review the application
  6. If your application is successful, you’ll receive your permit in the mail.

*A paper-based version of the application is available if you don’t have access to a mobile phone or the internet. Please contact our customer service centre if you require a paper form.

The following are open for community submission or comment.

  • Mayoral and Councillor allowances – submissions close 30 April
  • Proposed Budget 2021/22 – submissions close 14 May
  • Revenue and Rating Plan – comments close 14 May

Tenders

21015 - McEwen Road basin upgrade – stage 3
Council invites tenders for the third and final stage of the McEwen Road Kyabram retardation basin upgrade. A non-compulsory site meeting will be held at 11am on Thursday, 15 April at 78 McEwen Road.
Tender closes 2pm on Friday, 23 April.

21017 – Echuca, kerb & channel renewal – High Street locations
Council is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to complete the renewal of kerb & channel and associated works in Echuca.
Tender closes 2pm on Friday, 30 April.
