Works Notice

Corop Wanalta Road, Burrumboot
Road works are underway on a section of Corop Wanalta Road, between Two Tree and Burrumboot East Roads. Works include drainage, safety improvements and road surface replacement. Recent rain has delayed the project, now expected to be completed by the end of July. Road closures and detours are in place during the construction period. Property access will be maintained. Some traffic delays may be experienced, and Council will endeavour to minimise the disruption as much as possible.

Seniors Program Grants

Applications are now open to support older residents through this year’s Seniors Program Grants. The program provides funds of up to $1,000 to deliver projects or activities to older citizens. Projects must effectively address social isolation for seniors while adhering to social distancing requirements issued by the State and Federal Governments. Applications are now open, and will close on Friday, 7 August with announcements of successful applicants expected to be made by Friday, 4 September.
