2021 Kindergarten registrations

Registrations are now open for three and four year old funded kindergarten programs at Echuca Central, Echuca East, Echuca South, Colbinabbin, Rochester, Lockington, Tongala, Gunbower, Stanhope, Berrimba, Pink & Blue and Goodstart Early Learning. 2020/21 Proposed Budget

Council’s proposed Budget is now open for submissions, closing Wednesday, 27 May. Due to the current coronavirus pandemic and closure of customer service centres, the budget can only be viewed online at Council’s website. Alternatively, a copy can be emailed by calling customer service 1300 666 535. 

WickED Survey

Campaspe Shire and Moama residents, groups, businesses and schools are invited to provide feedback on waste and the environment through the annual WickED (Waste in Campaspe – know, educate, do) online survey. Comments close Monday, 1 June. 

Roads for harvest

Council is inviting large agricultural producers to provide comment on what gravel and earth roads they plan to utilise in advance of this season’s harvest. Feedback forms are available on Council’s website under the ‘Open for comment’ section and can be emailed to [email protected] by Friday, 12 June.

Have you registered your pool/spa?

New safety laws introduced by the Victorian Government require all landowners to now register their swimming pool and spa with their local council by 1 June 2020. Registrations can be made online through Council’s website, or by calling 1300 666 535. Failure to register can result in a fine. More information is available on Council’s website.

COVID financial support

Financial support options to assist ratepayers, residents, businesses and community groups in response to the coronavirus pandemic are available on Council’s website via dedicated webpage www.campaspe.vic.gov.au/covidfinance  

Work notices

Corop Wanalta Road, Burrumboot

Road works are underway on a section of Corop Wanalta Road, between Two Tree and Burrumboot East Roads. Detours are in place with works anticipated to be finished by the end of June.

Murray Valley Highway North Service Road, Gunbower

Road works are underway on a section of the Murray Valley Highway North Service Road. Access to driveways and on-street parking will be limited throughout the construction period. Works will be completed by the end of May.

Flu Vaccinations

A limited supply of flu vaccinations are now available for people aged 5 – 64 years at a cost of $30. To effectively distribute current stock and with more on order, residents are required to register their interest in the vaccine, indicating quantity required and preferred location. Council will then assign stock and contact all registered parties to confirm a time and date for the vaccination to be received. To register, call 1300 666 535.
