Council meetings are currently closed to the public due to COVID-19 restrictions. The meeting can be viewed via live streaming on Council’s website, www.campaspe.vic.gov.au/livestreaming
Outdoor dining
Council is assisting Campaspe hospitality businesses to either start or expand their outdoor dining footprint to maximise the number of customers that are able to dine in. Under the Third Step of the Victorian Government's roadmap, hospitality business will be required to mainly serve patrons outside.
Service update
With the Victorian Government announcing the move to Step Three on the Roadmap to Reopening, a number of services have reopened. In line with directions, restrictions are in place limiting the number of people, recording of names on entry, as well as social distancing.
- Customer service centres – open from Wednesday, 23 September
- Library services – reserve and collect service only available
- Port of Echuca Discovery Centre – outdoor areas, open from Wednesday, 23 September
- Echuca Paddlesteamers – New South Wales border entry permit required, open from Thursday, 24 September
- Echuca War Memorial Aquatic Centre - closed

Have you registered your pool/spa?
New safety laws introduced by the Victorian Government require all landowners to now register their swimming pool and spa with their local council by 1 November 2020. Registrations can be made online through Council’s website, or by calling 1300 666 535. Failure to register can result in a fine. More information is available on Council’s website.
Works Notice
Road surfacing works are now underway on various sealed roads across the shire. Before works start in an urban street, residents will be notified by letterbox drop of the work date, asking for the street to remain clear and advice to support a safe work environment. Access to driveways will only be restricted for short periods of time while the bitumen is being sprayed. The program will take four weeks to complete.

Australia Day Awards
Nominations for the 2021 Australia Day Awards are now open. Details and nomination forms can be downloaded from Council’s website. Nominations close Friday, 4 December and must be submitted to local Australia Day committees.
Kyabram Flood Study
The completed computer flood modelling and calibration report are now available to the community for viewing.
Council is now assessing the existing pumps and drainage basins. Council is also looking at what opportunities there are for improved warning systems. The community can provide feedback and suggestions into this component of the project, with comments closing Wednesday, 7 October. Further details including links to the computer modelling and the report are available on Council’s website.

Financial support options to assist ratepayers, residents, businesses and community groups in response to the coronavirus pandemic are available on Council’s website via dedicated webpage www.campaspe.vic.gov.au/covidfinance
