Council meeting, 6pm
Council meetings are again closed to the public in line with the new COVID restrictions. The meeting can be viewed via live streaming at www.campaspe.vic.gov.au/livestreaming

Project Update

Rushworth streetscape works are continuing, to be completed by end of August. 

Kinder Registrations

Registrations are now open for three and four year old funded kindergarten programs at Berrimba (Echuca), Colbinabbin, Echuca Central, Echuca East, Echuca South, Goodstart Early Learning (Moama), Gunbower, Lockington, Pink & Blue (Echuca), Rochester, Stanhope and Tongala.

Online applications are available on Council’s website. Hard copy applications can be assessed by downloading from the website, a customer service centre or by calling 1300 666 535. Applications for first round offers close Saturday, 26 June.

Open For Comment

A draft Public Places Trading Policy is now open for community comment, closing Friday, 18 June. For more information, visit Council's website, ‘Open for comment’.

Work Notices

Corop Wanalta Road, Corop
Road resurfacing and drainage works on Corop Wanalta Road, between Midland Highway and Hill Road, have been completed. Speed restrictions remain in place until the safety railing is installed.

Crossen Street, Echuca
Replacement of kerb and channel (concrete gutters) on the east side of Crossen Street, between Elizabeth Street and Ogilvie Avenue, is progressing well to be completed mid-June. During construction, traffic management is in place and access to properties maintained.

Service Changes

In line with current restrictions, the following services are now open:

  • Service centres
  • Library branches
  • Echuca Paddlesteamers
  • Port of Echuca Discovery Centre (museum remains closed)
  • Echuca & District Livestock Exchange

QR Code check-in is required at all Council facilities. Density limits are also in place.

The following services remain closed:

  • Echuca War Memorial Aquatic Centre
  • Campaspe Animal Shelter

Lodge a request for service online anytime for waste, roads, rates, public toilets and more. Simply visit Council’s website and click on the ‘lodge an online request’ tab on the home page. Payments can also be made online, through the “make a payment” tab.

Order a green bin and save

Did you know that by ordering a green bin service in township areas, you may reduce your annual waste charges? If you have the medium (140 litre) red bin or small (80 litre) red bin, ordering a green bin may reduce your annual waste charges. To order a green bin and get a choice of free food scrap caddy, visit Council’s website www.campaspe.vic.gov.au or call 1300 666 535.

The flu vaccine is now available at a cost of $30 per person. The vaccine is free to persons over 65 years and children aged 6 months to 5 years. Please bring your Medicare card.
