2025 Street Tree Planting Program
We are currently finalising our 2025 Street Tree Program, in which numerous new trees will be planted in the streets, parks and gardens throughout Campaspe Shire.
We are progressively increasing the urban canopy through its annual program of planting street trees in suitable locations in accordance with our Urban Forest Plan. A full list of addresses that have been identified for a Street Tree planting will be posted on our website by 10 November 2024. Residents will have three weeks to lodge an objection, which will be reviewed by Council’s arborist prior to a final decision.
Supply of new and replacement trees will also be considered in response to requests from the community. To request a new street tree, or to replace an existing tree, lodge an online application through our website, visit a customer service centre, or call 1300 666 535. Your request will be assessed by Council’s arborists for inclusion in the 2025 program.
The planting season runs from May through to August each year, with expressions of interest for the 2025 planting program closing on 31 October 2024.
