Creative Recovery Co-Design Groups Expression of Interest

Artist

Are you passionate about creativity and community? We invite individuals, artists, creatives, and community members from all backgrounds, particularly First Nations people, young people and people from diverse cultural backgrounds or people with disability to join our Creative Co-Design Group/s. Help us develop a unique series of creative intergenerational storytelling activities culminating in a new Arts Festival/Program based in Rochester and Echuca in May-June 2025.

About the Arts Festival/Program

In response to the recent floods affecting our communities, we're hosting a special Arts Festival/Program to celebrate resilience, renewal, and connectedness through creative storytelling and local activations. This is an opportunity for our community to unite through creative expression, sharing experiences and fostering connections across the Shire.

About the Creative Recovery Co-Design Groups
Co-Design Group/s will be a diverse collective working together to create an innovative artistic vision for the Arts Festival/Program. We aim to develop activities that resonate with the needs and aspirations of those impacted by the floods, encouraging contemporary socially engaged arts, cultural and place-based practices and outcomes. These group/s may merge as needed during the process to align with the evolving vision for the Arts Festival/Program.
