The draft 2025-2030 Campaspe Library Service Strategic Plan is now open for public comment following extensive community consultation in 2024. We encourage everyone to review the draft strategy and provide their input by 23 March. Have your say and be a part of this important conversation!
Over the years, our libraries have evolved, adapting to the changing needs of our residents, embracing new technologies, and expanding services to meet diverse interests. The Strategic Plan 2025-2030 builds on this legacy of innovation and inclusivity, outlining Council’s vision for the future of our library services over the next five years.
The draft strategy sets out strategic goals and priority actions summed up in four words – read, belong, access, and grow – aiming to increase community literacy, foster connections, improve access to resources, and grow our libraries’ impact by engaging with new audiences of all ages and abilities. We are committed to providing inclusive and equitable services, expanding digital resources, enhancing programs, and creating more opportunities for community engagement and collaboration.
