Echuca parking survey
Council is undertaking a survey to gain an understanding on the preferred method of payment for car parking to assist in future planning. This has been prompted by the Echuca CBD and Historic Port Precinct Parking Strategy where it was identified to review payment methods for parking to ensure continuous improvement. The strategy also recommended the introduction of the PayStay app which was rolled out in 2019.
Over the past three years, since the introduction of PayStay app, the number of people paying cash for parking in Echuca has decreased. This is expected to continue to decline as paying for goods and services by card has become the norm and many people choose not to carry cash at all.
The survey will only take a minute or so to complete.
