State Government - Setting the standard for better recycling at home

The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) is asking for Victorians to have their say on waste and recycling standards that will soon be implemented across Victoria.

The State Government will make the decision on what kerbside bins will be required for each Council to provide to the community, as well as what goes in each bin, for example, it is proposed that glass will be banned from your recycle bin.

Before the legislation is finalised, there’s an opportunity for residents to provide feedback on the proposed changes. It’s important that our community has their say on what they want to see as it will directly impact the service that Council’s will provide in the future and the associated cost of providing that service. Take the survey to have your say on the future of waste and recycling in Victoria.

Provide your feedback before Wednesday, 14 August on what waste services you’d like to see in Campaspe.
