Kyabram Flood Study

Residents are invited to review and provide feedback on flood modelling developed as part of the Kyabram Flood Study.

The flood study is being done in partnership with the Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority, Victorian State Emergency Service and Water Modelling Solutions.

Historical data and information from the community has been collected and used to develop flood modelling of the 1993 and 2012 floods.

What's next?

The comments received will be reviewed and adjustments, based on these comments, will be made to the modelling to better reflect what happened on ground during these flood events.

Once the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, the Kyabram community will be invited for a further session in mid-2020 where a draft of the flood maps will be presented.
