Victorian Business Support Fund
As part of the $1.7 billion economic survival package, the Victorian Government has announced $500 million to establish a Business Support Fund to assist small to medium businesses most impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak.

Working for Victoria Program
This program helps Victorians, including people who have lost their jobs due to the pandemic, find new work opportunities. Individuals can register for work and similarly businesses can register their interest in recruiting workers. To find out more, visit the Working for Victoria webpage.

Victorian Chamber Membership
The Victorian Chamber, VCCI, has waived the fees for Essentials membership, originally worth $700. They have also increased the training and consulting credits available to Essential members from $200 to $700.

Commercial tenancy relief scheme
The Victorian Government now has a commercial tenancy relief scheme in place to support commercial tenants and landlords who are struggling with economic disruption due to the pandemic.
The scheme includes a six month moratorium on evictions for not paying rent, which applies to Victorian SMEs that have an annual turnover less than $50 million and are participants in the Commonwealth Government's JobKeeper scheme. The scheme also provides land tax relief to eligible commercial landlords that provide rent relief to their eligible tenants.
