Campaspe Planning Scheme
All local councils in Victoria must have planning schemes. These schemes outline how land within a municipality can be used, developed, protected and conserved. They can cover all private and publicly owned land.
Victoria has a State Planning Policy Framework which outlines standard planning policies and controls that apply to all Victorian local governments. Campaspe cannot change that framework.

The Campaspe Shire Council's Planning Scheme outlines how land use is managed locally, whether that is residential and commercial developments, agricultural land management, preserving our heritage and natural assets, building new transport links, approving new gaming machines or determining when you need a planning permit for your property.
