Echuca East Community Precinct redevelopment
- Project typeStaged infrastructure project
- Project valueStaged project - multiple budget years
- Project scheduleStage 2 - Construction
This project will see redevelopment of this precinct, designed to meet the needs of existing user groups and identify opportunities for new groups. The area adjoins Sutton Street and the Echuca East Primary School.
The precinct provides for passive and informal recreation activities such as after school care, school holiday programs, dog obedience classes, dog events, girl guides, quilting, community radio and various other activities. Despite the uses of the site, the majority of facilities no longer meet the needs of the community, are in poor condition, and not compliant with various regulations and are nearing the end of their useful life.
The project is being developed in stages.
