There is a wonderful range of activities for children of all ages to enjoy including the usual favourites of movie afternoons, rhyme time, story time, as well as Bunnings Craft, footy badge making, Shiroi Art Exchange and more!

Activities include:

  • Baby Rhymetime - For babies up to 18 months
  • Bunnings Craft - Always a great session - with thanks to the team from Bunnings Echuca. Age 5+
  • Basic Coding - Using iPads to access educational Osmo games including drawing, basic coding, literacy, and puzzles. Great fun for the tech minded. Age 7+
  • Coliban Water Activity - A water education Storytime and craft session facilitated by Coliban Water for National Water Week. Aimed at preschool to lower primary aged children. All Ages
  • Footy Badges – Decorate a wooden person in the footy colours of your choice to wear as a badge. Age 5+
  • Grass Heads - Seeds, stockings, shredded paper, water, and sun is all you need to make and grow a grass head. A fun and easy gardening project. Age 5+
  • Masks - Fold, tape and create! Decorate a mask to wear. Age 5+ Movies - Bring your nibbles and drinks and enjoy a family movie together. Family Fun All ages
  • Pizza & Movie - Family fun in the library with pizza and a movie. Pizza $5 per head (adults included). Please book at Library and indicate your favourite pizza. (Internet booking not available). All ages
  • Peg People - Using wooden dolly pegs, create your very own character or person using a variety of materials and decorative pieces. Age 5+
  • Shiroi Art Exchange - Help us create local art work using Australian animal mosaics to send to Shiroi. Your artwork will be sent to Shiroi, Japan and cannot be taken home on the day. Age 5+
  • Snap Bands - Draw your own design onto a wrist band using colourful markers! Age 5+
  • Storytime - For preschool aged children.
  • Toddler Rhymetime - For children aged up to three years.
  • Wooden Garden Wind Chimes - Decorate the supplied wooden house and attach the chimes to hang in your garden. Age 5+

School holiday program flyers are available to download from the library website and are available in hard copy at local libraries.

Bookings are essential as places are limited. All activities commence on time and all children must be accompanied by an adult. Bookings can be made online at campaspe.vic.gov.au/library or by phoning 5481 2400.
