The People's Poet - Henry Lawson in Verse and Song
Henry Lawson's dramatic, often tragic life story, highlighted by his legendary, much-loved poems... about the bush and the city, mateship, endurance, kindness and resistance to oppression.
Born on the goldfields, Lawson was a radical, a poverty-stricken alcoholic, unlucky in love, a jail inmate... yet his works were feted around the world.
This year marks a century since he died
Join Campaspe Players as they tell henry Lawson's own dramatic story.
