The Murray River bank, between the Echuca Wharf and Port of Echuca Discovery Centre, has destabilised after floods and storms in 2016.

Demolition of the existing building is underway and will allow the retaining wall to be reconstructed with access from the land.

Once the retaining wall works are complete, the site will transformed into a temporary leisure space which will provide the perfect backdrop for locals and visitors to absorb the beauty of one of Australia's finest heritage icons.
