To build a municipality that serves Campaspe’s diverse community, now and in the future, council has developed a number of strategies and plans for housing, commercial and industrial zones within the shire.
Shire wide strategies & plans
Campaspe Shire Council has identified the need to plan for rural living opportunities, while also protecting valuable farming resources. The Rural Living Strategy will provide council with a framework for assessing future rural living opportunities in the Shire.
The key objective of this rural strategy is to secure and promote the future of agriculture across the region through council planning schemes. The strategy covers the three municipalities of Campaspe, Greater Shepparton and Moira.
The guidelines provide developers with direction and design for future residential estates. The key principles help to create a better environment, while achieving suitable design for both the developer and future landowners.
Echuca strategies & plans
