The community and Echuca Port Precinct business operators are encouraged to view a concept plan developed for Murray Esplanade.

The concept plan seeks to improve the functionality of Murray Esplanade, between Law Court Place and Leslie Street, to support events and activities. This could include static displays, markets or pop-up stalls. It also seeks to improve the aesthetics of the space for local businesses and visitors, to introduce shade, increase public seating and create an environment that reflects the community vision - 'A place to take your time, relax and enjoy yourself'.

The concept plan is a high level plan, to support the next stage of the project - a detailed design plan.

The detailed plan would show all the details, such as drainage, paths, as well as define materials and finishes. It also informs the cost of the project to support future funding bids and opportunities for staging, if required.

Listening post

To support the community to speak with staff about the concept plan, a listening post will be held:

Thursday, 7 November between 3pm and 6pm
Pop-up Park, Murray Esplanade, Echuca

The concept plan is available at the link below.
