The Rushworth community is being asked to input into the final designs for the Rushworth Streetscape to support the redevelopment of High Street, between Bendigo Murchison Road and Wigg Street.

The infrastructure in High Street, including the road surface, gutters, parking areas, footpath and drainage systems, is in poor condition and is in need of replacement. Instead of looking at each project separately, council is combining all the infrastructure needs into one project, to design as a whole, which will then support construction in future years.

The community is being asked to vote for preferences on two layouts for the carpark at the north end of High Street as well as an option to include a boulevard of trees.
