A series of workshops designed to assist businesses and potential businesses to grow will run from March to May.
The workshops, a partnership between Shire of Campaspe and Small Business Victoria, will be held across the Shire, covering topics such as marketing, franchising, time management and online sales.
Campaspe Mayor, Cr Leigh Wilson, said the workshops are a good opportunity for business owners to improve their skills.
“Workshops will cover things like building a sustainable competitive advantage, investing in a franchise, online strategy and understanding marketing. They are ideal for the small business community or anyone looking to brush up on their skills,” he said.
A total of six workshops will be held across the Shire in Rushworth, Kyabram, Echuca and Rochester. They range in length from two to three hours and there is a nominal cost involved. Bookings are essential to secure your place and can be made through Council’s website.
“Workshops similar to these have been popular in the past – and places usually fill up quickly. They are heavily subsidised, making them outstanding value,” said Cr Wilson.
