School holiday fun

Spring into this school holidays with plenty of free and fun activities at Campaspe’s libraries.

Library Services Manager, Jenny Mustey said from Monday, 23 September through to Friday, 4 October, the Echuca, Kyabram, Rochester, Rushworth and Tongala libraries will host a range of activities that will keep the young ones busy and entertained.

“We are excited to hold our first annual cooking competition, The Campaspe Shire Council Great Heritage Family Bake Off,” Mrs Mustey said.

“The event will take place in the Echuca library on Monday, 23 September and is open for those aged 5 to 15 years. Details are available on the library website.”

“We are also excited to offer a number of Techzone activities as part of the Campaspe Pathways STEM Project through an Inspiring Australia (Victoria) and the Royal Society of Victoria Grant.”

“Other activities will include movie sessions, footy fun, games, heaps of craft and even some messy fun making slime. We also welcome back the awesome team at Bunnings who will help us make iPad holders.”
