Things to do
Kyabram’s star attraction is the internationally acclaimed Kyabram Fauna Park. Set on 55 hectares of wetlands and plains, the park is home to over 500 varieties of birds and animals, and is recognised for its breeding of Australian endangered species program. A café, playground, barbecues and a tourist information centre make the park a relaxed place to visit.
Kyabram is also a sporting town, with two golf courses, Olympic sized outdoor swimming pool, bowls, croquet, a unique bocce complex and a multi-purpose sports stadium.
The local agricultural show is held in October and the Par 3 Amateur Golf Championships of Victoria are held at Kyabram in June.
For a night out, there are several local venues to choose from, many of which provide entertainment. If art, craft or history are more your thing, Kyabram Town Hall has regular and travelling exhibitions.
