Here is a great opportunity to hear from one of AFL’s most exciting current players, Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti. Anthony and his adopted mum, Jane, will be speaking at the Bocce Club, corner Fischer St & Breen Ave Kyabram, on Friday, 14 February 2020 at 7pm.
McDonald-Tipungwuti’s dramatic rise in the football world however it is the story behind this talented Essendon footballer that needs to be heard by all. His story of being abandoned as a child before the love and commitment of a family gave him fresh opportunities is touching. His courage to make it into the football elite is truly inspirational. “I want to help people. If I tell my story it might help them to push through and find a way out of their darkness.” Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti.
The Kyabram P-12 College Chaplaincy Support Group is committed to the Chaplaincy Program and our Chaplain, Liz Spicer, so this event will raise funds so that Liz can continue to support students and families throughout our school and wider community. Half of all funds raised on the night will go towards the Bush Fire Appeal and will be donated through the Salvation Army.
The night will also include finger food delivered to your tables, drinks at bar (to be purchased), guest singing artist, football trivia and photos with Anthony.
You may like to book a table of ten or individual seats. Prices are $100 per adult and $60 per student (Year 12 and under). We expect the night to sell out, so please book quickly to avoid disappointment.
