In the lead up to the Commonwealth Games, Echuca has been selected to host the Queen's Baton Relay.

A free community celebration has been planned to celebrate the arrival of the Queen's Baton to Echuca.

TRAFFIC & PARKING DISRUPTIONS

Motorists will experience minor traffic disruptions along High Street, Echuca during the Queen’s Baton Relay. A rolling closure along High Street will occur to allow the Baton Relay to pass through. Traffic will be delayed until the Baton Relay has passed through each section of High Street.

The Baton Relay will leave the Echuca South Recreation Reserve at 4.15pm, travel along High Street, through the Port Precinct, arriving at the celebration site at 5.30pm.

Parking will be restricted on the west side of High Street, with no parking from 2pm. Parking will be restricted for the day around Hopwood Gardens.

Information signage will be in place.
