What we do
Elder Rights Advocacy are a state-wide, Victorian non-profit aged care advocacy organisation established in 1990 as Residential Care Rights. In 2006/07 we changed our name to Elder Rights Advocacy to reflect that our information, advocacy and community education work covers all forms of home-based aged care as well as residential aged care.

In 2019 we began delivering the Community Visitors Scheme (CVS).

CVS is a free service that connects a friendly volunteer to visit an elderly person who may be feeling isolated or does not receive many visitors, in residential aged care or living at home on a care package.
