Heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms are expected across our region in the next three days which may lead to flash flooding. Residents can expect that water will be retained in the streets and gradually subside.

If flash flooding occurs:

  • Don’t walk, ride or drive through flood water
  • Keep clear of creeks and storm drains

In preparation for expected rainfall, council’s inspection and cleaning programs for our stormwater pits, stormwater traps and stormwater pumps are up-to-date and staff are on standby.
