"Kenny" is coming to town!

Calling all tradies! Pack up your tool belt and lock in this date with one of the big screen’s most well know “tradies”– Kenny, AKA Shane Jacobson.

Campaspe Shire Council is throwing on a free evening featuring award winning actor Shane Jacobson in what is sure to be a night of laughs, and some well earnt down time for anyone looking for an entertaining night out.

To be held at the Echuca Paramount Theatre on 26 October, the evening with Jacobson who is an accomplished actor, presenter and consummate entertainer in a career spanning 40 years, is free for anyone wishing to attend.

Jacobson’s many accolades, experiences and stories have brought to life his best selling book ‘A Long Road to Overnight Success’.  Add that to his many television and film appearances, including his role as the lovable character Kenny in the mockumentary of the same name, and we have the ingredients for a great night out.

Campaspe Shire Mayor, Cr Rob Amos said he was looking forward to experiencing firsthand Jacobson’s laconic style, and quick wit melded with memorable stories panning an extraordinary life.

“Shane will discuss his book ‘A Long Road to Overnight Success’ and the classic, relaxed Australian lifestyle we are known for globally. It’ll be an evening full of laughter and light-hearted stories, so we hope you can register for a ticket and enjoy a night out on us,” Mayor Amos added.

Throughout his career, Shane has received an array of awards including a Helpmann Award, Australian International Movie Convention award, Film Critics Circle of Australia award and many more.
