Recreation reserves
Whether you are an experienced sportsperson or just starting out, there are plenty of great facilities and opportunities to play sports across Campaspe Shire.
The municipality boasts many sports grounds where you can get fit, stay fit and make new friends through a range of activities, from cricket to football to volleyball.
Book a recreation space
Bookings for eight open spaces and four recreation reserves can be done online. These include:
Open spaces: Alton Reserve Echuca, Apex Park Echuca, Aquatic Reserve Echuca, Echuca East, Hopwood Gardens Echuca, Onion Patch Echuca, Village Green and Sound Shell Tongala Aquatic Reserve,
Recreation reserves: Echuca South Netball Complex, Echuca South Recreation Reserve, Echuca Victoria Park Recreation Reserve, Kyabram Recreation Reserve

In completing the online form, if the date is not available the form will indicate to you. If you are an organisation, you will need to upload your public liability insurance.

Request a permit for fitness provider
Fitness providers who use public spaces for personal and group fitness training can apply for an annual permit to use the space.
Please read the documents below relating to the use of public spaces for a commercial purpose:

Council owned reserve managed by a committee of management, catering for football, cricket, tennis and bowls, providing:
- Oval including wicket, suitable for football and cricket

Echuca Sporting Complex

- 2 squash courts
- A gymnastics area
- 200 seat grandstand

- Facilities for all abilities include ramp access, toilets and change rooms.

Campaspe supports good sports
Campaspe Shire Council supports and promotes being a good sport, through the Victorian Code of Conduct for Community Sport. It outlines the sorts of behaviours expected of everyone involved in community sport and active recreation. It also identifies unacceptable behaviours which won’t be tolerated.
The Code of Conduct
Every person: spectator, player, club member, official, participant, administrator, coach, parent or member of the community involved with the sport, should work to ensure:
- inclusion of every person regardless of their age, gender or sexual orientation
- inclusion of every person regardless of their race, culture or religion
- opportunities for people of all abilities to participate in the sport and develop to their full potential
- respect is shown towards others, the club and the broader community
- a safe and inclusive environment for all
- elimination of violent and abusive behaviour
- protection from sexual harassment or intimidation.
This code applies to community sport, training and club sanctioned activities.
