Campaspe Dog Parks - Kyabram and Tongala This project is funded by the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure program and will provide two dog off-leash exercise parks to be located in Kyabram and Tongala.
Campaspe Public Amenities - Echuca & Colbinabbin This project is funded by Local Roads and Community Infrastructure program (LRCI4) and will provide all access toilets at Apex Park in Echuca and Colbinabbin.
Community Initiatives In early 2024, Council sought input from the community regarding individual projects to the value of $50,000 from across the Shire for inclusion in the 2024/25 budget. Officers reviewed the submissions and proposed a number of projects for inclusion which were then endorsed during the budget process.
Echuca Moama Torrumbarry Flood Study Project Commenced in 2018, the flood study project is a joint project between Campaspe Shire and Murray River councils, in conjunction with the Victorian North Central Catchment Management Authority, Department of Environment Energy and Climate Action, and NSW Department of Planning and Environment.
Echuca Riverboat Dock Accessible Ramp This project will provide an accessible ramp at Riverboat dock to enable all access to vessels.Currently undergoing the Construction Certificate process with Murray River Council. Once complete, project can go out to tender and begin the construction process.
Echuca Sturt Street Car Park Renewal This project will renew the Sturt Street Car Park in Echuca. Design is in the final stages and procurement for the works will commence once designs and approvals are received. Construction works are scheduled to start in March, with expected completion in the 2025 financial year.
Johnson St, Colbinabbin Works Roadworks will be undertaken on Johnson Street, Colbinabbin, between Mitchell Street and Meade Lane, from Tuesday 29 April.
Kyabram Recreation Reserve This project will upgrade the current Wilf Cox Pavilion to ensure it meets Australian building and accessibility standards, and provide suitable facilities for users of all genders and abilities.Current phase: Detailed design.
Port of Echuca Discovery Centre This project will refurbish displays at the Port of Echuca Discovery Centre to enhance the visitor experience.
