Echuca & District Livestock Exchange
Owned and operated by Campaspe Shire Council, the Echuca and District Livestock Exchange holds regular cattle sales.
It features up-to-date technology including Livestock Exchange software and ALEIS scanning equipment to cover the requirements of the National Livestock Identification Scheme (NLIS). It offers covered yards with a soft woodchip floor, providing optimal conditions to help producers get the best market price for their products.
The Livestock Exchange is located at 520 McKenzie Road, Echuca. The Property Identification Code (PIC) is 3SYDA564.

Animal welfare

Cattle sales
Echuca’s prime cattle sales are held weekly on Wednesdays with an average yarding of 1,000 head per sale.
With seven stock agents operating at Echuca’s prime cattle market and an average 14 buyers attending to buy for up to 40 different abattoirs or feed lots, maximum competition is assured.
A store cattle sale is held on the first Monday of every month except January at Echuca. Dairy cattle sales are held on request.
The large selling ring gallery can seat 100+ patrons.
Transport
Transporting livestock to and from the exchange is convenient, with several local stock transporters available to cater for all needs from the largest B Double to smaller tray trucks.
