The municipality boasts a range of indoor sports facilities where you can get fit, stay fit and make new friends through a range of activities, from cricket to football, carpet bowls to volleyball. 

Book a stadium

Bookings for Echuca, Kyabram and Tongala stadiums can be done online.

Before booking, read the Stadiums casual booking conditions of use(PDF, 120KB). Then check availability and to book, follow these steps:

Step 3: Confirmation of the booking will be approved, once the application has been received

Echuca

Echuca Stadium
High Street South, Echuca

Indoor sports centre owned and managed by Campaspe Shire Council, providing:

  • 3 courts suitable for basketball, netball, volleyball and badminton
  • 300 seat grandstand
  • A multipurpose room available for meetings and conferences
  • Facilities for all abilities including parking, toilet and change rooms.

Echuca Sporting Complex
Tech Drive (off Butcher Street), Echuca

Indoor sports centre managed under a joint management agreement which includes representatives from Campaspe Shire Council and Echuca College. The complex provides:

  • 2 basketball courts
  • 2 squash courts
  • A gymnastics area
  • 200 seat grandstand
  • Hockey / tennis multipurpose courts
  • Facilities for all abilities include ramp access, toilets and change rooms.

Kyabram

Kyabram Sports & Entertainment Centre
408 Allan Street, Kyabram

Indoor sports centre owned and managed by council, providing:

  • 2 courts, suitable for netball, basketball, badminton, volleyball, indoor soccer
  • A multipurpose room for meetings and activities including carpet bowls, dance and group fitness.
  • A smaller meeting room
  • Facilities for all abilities include parking, ramp access to the stadium, toilet and shower.

Tongala

Tongala Leisure Centre

Indoor sports stadium owned and managed by Campaspe Shire Council, providing:

  • 1 court suitable for basketball
  • 2 squash courts
  • Change rooms

Campaspe supports good sports 

Campaspe Shire Council supports and promotes being a good sport, through the Victorian Code of Conduct for Community Sport. It outlines the sorts of behaviours expected of everyone involved in community sport and active recreation. It also identifies unacceptable behaviours which won’t be tolerated.

The Code of Conduct

Every person: spectator, player, club member, official, participant, administrator, coach, parent or member of the community involved with the sport, should work to ensure:

  • inclusion of every person regardless of their age, gender or sexual orientation
  • inclusion of every person regardless of their race, culture or religion
  • opportunities for people of all abilities to participate in the sport and develop to their full potential
  • respect is shown towards others, the club and the broader community
  • a safe and inclusive environment for all
  • elimination of violent and abusive behaviour
  • protection from sexual harassment or intimidation.

This code applies to community sport, training and club sanctioned activities.
