Providing the local community with well maintained, well connected footpaths, roads and drains is one of local government’s key responsibilities.
Not all roads within Campaspe are Council’s responsibility. Major roads within the municipality are often the responsibility of the state government.

Council has two footpath programs - maintenance and renewal
Council maintains a road network of more than 4,000 kilometres, a mix of sealed, gravel and earth roads
Council manages and maintains roadside and township drains
If you want to install a driveway, approval is needed
