Project Update

Two buildings with four ensuites in each have been recently installed at the Echuca Holiday Park for use by caravan travellers.

Tenders

Tender C24032 - Supply & Delivery of Two (2) Truck Mounted Street Sweepers with Trade.

Council invites tenders from suitable suppliers for the above plant. Tender submissions must be uploaded to Council’s tender portal no later than 2pm on 14 August. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Tender C24033 - Campaspe Shire, Footpath Construction Program 

Council requires suitably experienced contractor(s) to complete the above works in 5 locations within the Shire. Tender submissions must be uploaded to the eProcure tender portal no later than 2pm on 15 August. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Prospective candidates are encouraged to come and speak with Cr Despi O'Connor - Vice President Metro and Secretary of the Australian Local Government Women’s Association (ALGWA) and hear about standing for Council from a female perspective.

Seniors Program Grants
The 2024 Seniors Program Grants are now open! Not-for-profit community groups, organisations and clubs are encouraged to think creatively and host an event or activity that promotes positive ageing, fosters social connection and participation in community events. Funding of up to $1,000 is available and applications close Friday, 9 August.

Rural Tree Scheme
Native seedlings are now available to rural landowners in Campaspe Shire at a subsidised cost. The Rural Tree Scheme contains around 40 native plant species that are well suited to the Campaspe climate and soil types. To be eligible, you must own property in the farm, rural living or rural conservation zones. You can complete an online order form or download an order form from Council’s website, pick one up at one of Council’s Customer Service Centres or have one posted to you.

Lockington Place Based Plan
The Lockington & District Place Based Plan survey has opened for community consultation. Tell us what you love about your local community and share your ideas and needs for future places, infrastructure, and services in Lockington & District. Complete the online survey or pick up a hard copy from any of our service centres. You can also attend a community pop-up session:

Rochester Flood Study
Residents of Rochester and surrounding areas are invited to submit photos and evidence of 2011, 2022 and 2024 flood markings to our Flood Study Team which will assist in calibrating the computerised flood model to make sure it is accurately replicating past events. Visit our website to complete the online form where you can attach your photos and information. If you need assistance with this, call 1300 666 535 or visit any of our Service Centres or the Recovery Hub.
