Works Notice
Sturt Street, Echuca
Works are scheduled to start mid-October on the section of Sturt Street, between Pakenham and Anstruther Streets.
Works include an upgrade to the drainage, kerb and channel (gutter), and replacement of the road surface. The works will take approximately four months to complete.
During construction, road closures and detours will be in place. Property access will be maintained for residents living along this section of road.

Australia Day awards
Nominations for the 2022 Australia Day awards are now open! Three award categories are available in each of the five local areas. This year, we’ve made it easier for residents to nominate a noteworthy citizen or community group. Nominations can now be submitted through the simplified online form on our website. Nominations close 5pm on Friday, 3 December.

Provision of Cleaning Services
Council requires the services of a suitably experienced cleaning contractor(s) to undertake cleaning services at various council facilities under the following three contracts.
21050 – Provision of Cleaning Services A
Eight facilities located in Kyabram, Rochester, Rushworth and Tongala.
21051 – Provision of Cleaning Services B
Seven facilities located in Echuca, Kyabram and Tongala.
21052 – Provision of Cleaning Services C
Six facilities located in Echuca.

21057 – Corop, Lake Cooper Road Replacement
Council requires the services of a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake the replacement of a section of Lake Cooper Road.

Tender 21056 – Kyabram, Graham Road Replacement
Council requires the services of a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake replacement of a section of Graham Road.

Street Tree Applications
Council is finalising orders for next year’s Street Tree Planting program. New trees are scheduled to be planted between May and August next year in streets, parks and gardens across the shire. To obtain a street tree, lodge an online request through Council’s website. Applications are open until the end of October.

Project Update
Work at the Colbinabbin Recreation Reserve is progressing with the new shed slab laid and the shed frame on site ready to go.
