Community Grants

The Community Grants program is now open for application. Community Grants offer financial support to not-for-profit community organisations, groups and associations for projects, exhibitions and/or performances. The maximum grant amount is $4,000. Applications close at 4pm on Friday, 15 April. If you require assistance with your application, contact Bobbi Aitken on 1300 666 535.

Business Assistance Grants

Business Assistance Grants are now open for application. Business Assistance Grants assist businesses to either diversify or expand and also encourage new businesses to start up. There are four grant categories; start up/new business, small business, medium business and large business. Applications close at 4pm on Friday, 15 April. If you require assistance with your application, contact Bobbi Aitken on 1300 666 535.

Project Update

Concrete paths and the fishing jetty structural frame are almost complete at Gunbower’s Lions Park. Landscaping and playground equipment installation will start soon.

Works Notices

Lake Cooper Road, Corop

Drainage and road surface works will be undertaken on a 370 metre section of Lake Cooper Road in Corop, starting at the irrigation channel bridge on Lucas Road, heading north around the bend. Works will start on Wednesday, 16 March and will take approximately three weeks to complete. Road closures and detours will be in place, however property access will be maintained. Fenaughty Street, Kyabram

Roadworks are scheduled on Fenaughty Street, between Saunders Street and Mitchell Street, from Monday, 28 March. These works include a new road surface, drainage, gutters and some footpath works. There will be road closures during construction, however access to the hospital will be maintained throughout the entire period. One hospital driveway will always be accessible and wayfinding signage will be in place. There will be no on-street parking. Works are expected to be completed mid to late May.

Echuca Moama Discovery Day

The Echuca Library will be hosting the Echuca Moama Discovery Day on Saturday, 19 March between 10am – 1pm. More than 50 community groups will be in attendance to provide information on their activities and endeavours. The day will include a free sausage sizzle, children’s activities and local performers. All community members are encouraged to attend this event and bring their family members, friends and neighbours.
