Local community group representatives are invited to register interest in promoting their group to people who have recently moved to the region, retired or wanting to be more involved in the community at the ‘Welcome to Echuca Moama’ evening at the Echuca Library. Registrations close Friday, 28 February and can be made by calling the library on 5481 2400.
Changes to pool registration requirements
New safety laws introduced by the Victorian Government require all landowners to now register their swimming pool and spa with their local council by 1 June 2020. Registrations can be made online through Council’s website, or by calling 1300 666 535. More information is available on Council’s website.

20004 – Burramboot, Corop-Wanalta Road Rehabilitation
Council requires the services of a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake renewal of approximately 6km of sealed pavement along Corop-Wanalta Road. A non-compulsory site meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, 26 February 2020 at 10:30am onsite. Tenders close 2pm, 11 March.
RFQ 20007 – Roof sheeting renewal & stage ceiling replacement – Rushworth Hall
Council is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced roof plumber to undertake renewal works to the existing roof sheeting, downpipes, gutters and flashings at the Rushworth Town Hall. Part of these works require the installation of ceiling linings above the stage area and renewal of existing barge boards to gable ends. A non-compulsory site meeting is scheduled for Thursday, 27 February at 11:30am onsite.

Youth Week Grants
Now open
Applications are invited from organisations, community groups and individuals looking to run an event during Victorian Youth Week, 3-12 April. Grants up to $500 are available with a range of criteria to be met. Applications close at 5pm, Friday, 6 March.
