Council have replaced three ageing amenities across the shire with new accessible amenities.

One of the new fully accessible amenities was installed at Lions Federation Park in Rushworth. It comprises of three unisex ambulant amenities and one unisex accessible amenity. New footpaths, irrigation and turf was also installed as part of the works. 

These works were funded by the Federal Governments Local Roads and Community Infrastructure program

 

Project 1 - Replacing shade sails - Completed.

Project 2 - Installation of new accessible public toilets - Completed.

Project 3The project is for the upgrading of a pavement and parking area adjacent to Lions Park off Station Street. The works will include drainage and sealing of the parking area and the provision of one parking space for use by people of all abilities. Click here(PDF, 6MB) to view a the proposed design.
