2023 Community Satisfaction Survey Action Plan Progress
Developed following the 2022-23 Community Satisfaction Survey results, the Community Satisfaction Survey Action Plan was endorsed in July 2023, with quarterly progress updates to be provided. The report noted that the latest quarter saw an increase in completed actions addressing areas such as infrastructure improvements including the Toolleen Axedale Road widening project, the completion of the Rushworth Streetscape as well as the annual road resheeting and resealing program. Ongoing communications and community engagement initiatives were also tabled. Delays were noted in completing Kyabram’s Breen Ave Shared User Path due to unforeseen and continuing difficulties in obtaining external approvals, with completion now forecast for December 2024.

Council noted eleven Notes of Appreciation that have been received since its last meeting, including six commendations for the Parks & Gardens and Roads Services teams. Notes of thanks were also received from community members thanking Council for library and recreation programs, as well as to the Community Transport team and their volunteer drivers for the “exceptional care” given whilst transporting community members to medical appointments.
