Project update
Works at the Echuca Aerodrome are underway. The new site office facilities, clearance works and underground drainage have been completed. In the coming weeks the new helipad base concrete slab will be poured, and the runway has been closed for surface stripping.

Tender C24015 – Campaspe Shire Public Amenity Replacement
Campaspe Shire Council is seeking to engage a contractor to replace one (1) existing council owned public amenity facility and supply a further one (1) public amenity facility (Greenfield) with new modular accessible facilities in Echuca and Colbinabbin respectively. A copy of the documents can be downloaded from Council’s website. Tender closes at 2pm on Wednesday, 3 April 2024.

Lake Eppalock Technical Assessment
The Lake Eppalock Technical Assessment investigated options for changing Lake Eppalock’s infrastructure and operating arrangements to improve protection for downstream communities from future flooding. The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) is currently seeking feedback to better understand the benefits and negative impacts of the options investigated as part of the Lake Eppalock Technical Assessment. Members of the community including Traditional Owners, irrigators, downstream residents, recreational water users and upstream landholders are encouraged to read the report and provide feedback here.
Community Grants now open
Round One of the 2024/25 Community Grants program is now open. The program offers up to $4,000 of financial support for community groups, organisations and associations with a broad range of projects to encourage participation in communities. Applications close 5pm, Friday, 12 April. For more information, click here.

Echuca Moama Discovery Day
Campaspe Libraries will be hosting the Echuca Moama Discovery Day on Saturday, 16 March between 10am – 1pm outside the Echuca Library. There will be close to 50 different stalls for you to visit including local sports clubs, interest groups, service clubs, emergency services, craft groups, hobbies and volunteering opportunities. Come along to the Echuca Library and find out what this great region has to offer and how you can get involved. It's free and everyone is welcome.
Rushworth Service Centre reopened
Council is delighted to announce that the newly refurbished Rushworth Service Centre and Library is open. Visit 33 High Street to access Council support, services and the library in Rushworth. The Service Centre and Library is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8.30am to 4.30pm (closed 12noon to 1pm and on Wednesdays).
Abilities Unleashed Sports Day
Campaspe Shire Council’s recreation team is partnering with Disability Australia to bring the Abilities Unleashed Sports Day to Echuca on Friday, 15 March. The event will include sports such as wheelchair rugby, netball, dodgeball and cricket. For more information, click here.
