Project update

Works are ongoing at Colbinabbin Shire Hall and have included: the demolition and replacement of the toilet facilities; new storage spaces; new carpet in the library area; new floor coverings in the Maternal and Child Health consultancy rooms, the front foyer and the main storage room; and the sanding and resealing of the timber flooring in the mail hall area. All works are expected to be delivered before 30 June 2025.

Do you have a fantastic business idea but you’re not sure how to bring it to life? Council, in partnership with StartUp Central Victoria, can help you along the road to success! Join our business networking event on Thursday, 22 May, from 5pm at Bar Lee, 555 High Street, Echuca. Cost is $20 per person which includes a welcome drink and light refreshments. Youth GO! Grants

This grant program is open to schools, community groups, and organisations to host youth-focused events or activities. The aim is to support a range of activities and events that promote social connection, positive well-being, and youth empowerment for residents aged 12-25 years across Campaspe Shire. Grants up to $1500 area available. Applications close 29 June.

Kindergarten Open Days

All Shine Bright kindergartens have an open day on Tuesday, 13 May during opening hours (check Council website for each kindergarten’s opening hours). Rushworth Kindergarten and Childcare will have an open day on Thursday, 22 May 2025 from 9:30am to 11am.

Tenders

 

Request for Tender 25022 Shire Footpath Renewal Program Financial Year 2024-25

Council is seeking submissions from suitably experienced contracts for the above work. A non-compulsory site meeting is scheduled for 15 May 2025 at 8am. RFT submissions must be uploaded to the eProcure tender portal on Council’s website no later than 2pm on 29 May. Late submissions will not be accepted.

IDAHOBIT 2025

Council is holding a hosting an event in Hopwood Gardens from 10:30am on Friday, 16 May for the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT), featuring speeches and flag-raising. All are welcome.
