Maternal and Child Health (MCH) and Immunisation services surveys
Consultation and engagement regarding Council’s Maternal and Child Health (MCH) and Immunisation services is now underway. Council is seeking to understand service users’ opinions and what matters most to them in relation to the delivery of these services, through two surveys. You can have your say by completing one or both of these surveys. Surveys close midnight, Monday 21 April.
Draft Echuca Flood Risk Management Plan report
The draft Echuca Flood Risk Management Plan is now open for exhibition and to seek submissions from the community before Council considers its adoption about mid-2025. Visit Council’s website or any customer service centre or library to view and provide feedback. Comments close midnight, Sunday, 20 April.
Community Grants Round One
Round One of the 2025-26 Community Grants program is now open. The program offers up to $4,000 of financial support for community groups, organisations and associations with a broad range of projects to encourage participation in communities. Applications close 5pm, Thursday, 24 April.
Campaspe Food Network survey
The Campaspe Food Network wants to hear from you. We’re asking you to tell us what issues and opportunities you see for the food system in Campaspe Shire. The aim of this survey is to capture community need and inform any future actions. This survey closes Friday, 16 May 2025 at 5pm.

Council will be holding two community information sessions. Information will be provided on:
- What is kinder?
- Why is kinder important in my child’s development?
- When do children start kinder?
- What are my options for kinder?
- How do I register and enrol my child?
Information sessions will be held on:
- Tuesday 6th May 5:30-6:30 pm Kyabram Stadium 408 Allan Street Kyabram
- Wednesday 7th May 5:30-6:30 pm Campaspe Shire Council 2 Heygarth Street Echuca
Refreshments will be provided.
Easter waste collection services
Waste collection services across Campaspe Shire will remain unchanged during the Easter period.
Works notices
Roadworks – Hume Street, Echuca
Works will be taking place from Monday, 31 March in Hume Street, Echuca between Darling and Pakenham Streets. As a result, the Hume/Pakenham Street bus stop located along the west side of Hume Street will be closed for the duration of the works. Works are expected to be completed by 16 May.
Passengers of Route 2 Circular Echuca are advised to use the alternative bus stops at:
• Annesley Street/Pakenham Street - Dan Murphy's (to Echuca)
• Sturt Street/Pakenham Street (to Echuca)
• Hovell Street/Pakenham Street (to Echuca)
• McKinlay Street/Hume Street (to Echuca).
Roadworks – High Street, Rushworth
Street sweeping and line marking works will occur on High Street, Rushworth, between Wigg Street and Moora Road in late April 2025. This work is required to refresh the existing line marking within the road and carpark areas and has been timed to avoid the busy Easter/Anzac Day period.
The street sweeping activities will take place early morning on Monday, 28 April 2025; line marking will occur on Tuesday, 29 April and Wednesday, 30 April. Traffic management will be in place during the works however High Street will remain open for all traffic. Line marking will be undertaken gradually in the roadway and within car parking areas along the east and west sides of High Street. This process will involve a short-term impact on the directly affected car parks as the works progress.
Roadworks – Johnson St, Colbinabbin
Roadworks will be undertaken on Johnson Street, Colbinabbin, between Mitchell Street and Meade Lane, from Tuesday 29 April. These works include a new road surface, drainage, kerbing and some footpath works. There will also be drainage upgrades and re-grading of the existing open drain to the North of Meade Lane, between Johnson and Collin Streets. There will be road closures during construction, however, access will be maintained for residents and emergency services. Road users are advised to follow detours or plan alternative routes during the works, which are expected to be completed in early June.
Roadworks – Two Tree Road, Stanhope
Culvert and bridge renewal construction works in Two Tree Road, Stanhope, began in early March and will take about four months to complete. During the construction period, Two Tree Road will be closed between Girgarre-Rushworth Road and Geodetic Road North. Detours will be in place. Access to properties will be available. Some traffic delays may occur, but council will endeavour to minimise the disruption as much as possible.

Sturt Street Car Park, Echuca
Works that have been under way in Echuca's Sturt Street Car Park are now complete and the car park has reopened.
