Project update

Landscaping works at Tongala kindergarten have recently been completed which included the installation of a new sprinkler system, soft fall edging and turf, ready for the children to enjoy when school starts.

Council is seeking submissions from suitably experienced providers for the above work.

Submissions must be uploaded to the eProcure tender portal on Council’s website no later than 2pm on 14 February 2025. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Community Flood Recovery and Resilience Grants

The Community Flood Recovery and Resilience Grants aim to support individuals, families, and organisations affected by the October 2022 flood event and plan for a flood-resilient future. The grants provide funding of up to $10,000 to eligible not-for-profit community organisations, groups, social enterprises, and creative organisations. Each eligible applicant can submit one application per project or event, with a maximum of five applications per organisation. Activities must be completed by April 30, 2025.

Ripple Fest 2025 Pumphouse Artist in Residency Program - Expressions of Interest.

Council’s Tourism, Arts & Culture team is preparing to activate Echuca’s heritage-listed Pump House in the lead-up to the inaugural Ripple Fest, a contemporary arts festival in coming to Echuca and Rochester in May. Artists from various disciplines are invited to engage in self-directed projects, share skills with the local creative community, develop professional networks, and contribute to community arts engagement. Ripple Fest 2025 Young Artists - Expressions of Interest.

Ripple Fest 2025 is also calling for young creatives aged 15-25 to join a youth-led program that will culminate in a vibrant exhibition at the Foundry Arts Space during the festival in May 2025.  Young artists will have the opportunity to work with professional artists and mentors and showcase their work in a public exhibition that is part of a new contemporary arts festival. Young creatives (15-25) with and or without artistic experience, are encouraged to apply.

Diversity and Inclusion Reference Group – Expressions of Interest

Campaspe Shire Council is launching an expression of interest (EOI) process for individuals to join its newly formed Diversity and Inclusion Reference Group. This initiative is a key component of Council's Access and Inclusion Strategy 2020-2026, which underscores Council’s unwavering commitment to fostering equal participation and inclusion for all community members. Council encourages individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences to submit their EOI and contribute to this important initiative.

Echuca Moama Discovery Day

Campaspe Libraries will be hosting its annual Echuca Moama Discovery Day on Saturday, 15 March between 10am – 1pm. The day provides an opportunity for community organisations, sports clubs, service clubs, volunteer groups and not-for-profit groups to promote their activities and endeavours. Community groups interested in participating can obtain application forms from any Campaspe Library or by emailing [email protected]. The deadline for applications is Friday, 28 February.
