Project update
Flood recovery works at the Murray riverfront in Echuca are continuing with replacement irrigation pipes, new mulch and planting of more than 2000 plants, from 20 different species of native vegetation of the Goulburn Broken River plains recently completed.

Psychological First Aid training
Council's Recovery Hub in partnership with Phoenix Australia present Psychological First Aid Sessions which a provide practical, flexible, and recommended approach to help people affected by trauma. Visit the Now Open page to register for any of the ten sessions being held in Echuca, Lockington and Rochester between 22 April and 22 May. Free Youth Mental Health First Aid Accredited Courses
Council's Recovery Hub and Youth Community Development teams are offering free, accredited Youth Mental Health First Aid courses, designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills to help adolescents experiencing mental health problems. Council is subsidising the cost of this course thanks to the Victoria State government ‘Engage Funding’ and by the State of Victoria through Emergency Recovery Victoria’s Recovery Hub Program in response to the October 2022 flood event. Campaspe Youth GO! Grants
This grant program is open to schools, community groups or organisations to host youth focused events or activities for residents aged 12-25 across Campaspe. Grants of a maximum $1,000 per application are available. Applications close midnight, Sunday, 19 May. Expressions of Interest - Rochester Flood Study Reference Committee

Library Strategy Survey
We want to hear your opinions, thoughts and ideas about our library service. Please complete this short survey to assist us to plan for the future and understand what we need to do to improve our services and resources. In addition to the survey, the library will host a series of "Listen at the Library" sessions, where residents can drop in to share their thoughts, ideas, and concerns directly with renown library consultants, Ian and Jacqui Phillips as well as library staff. Kindergarten enrolments
Applications for 3- and 4-year-old kindergarten for 2025 will open on 1 May. Submit your application together with the required documentation before 30 June to ensure your application is considered for first round offers. Offers will be emailed to families in mid-July and will be made subject to Department of Education and local priority of access criteria.
