Project update

The Kyabram Northern Oval Amenities upgrade is underway with demolition of the old Cricket Club amenities and preparations for the new slab poor completed. The project includes upgrades to both male and female amenities is estimated to be complete by the end of June.

Listen at the Library

Campaspe Libraries have been surveying the community and hosting a series of "Listen at the Library" sessions, where residents can drop in to share their thoughts, ideas, and concerns directly with renown library consultants, Ian and Jacqui Phillips as well as library staff. The final listen at the library sessions are happening today and tomorrow:

  • Rochester - 9am – 12noon, Tuesday, 4 June
  • Lockington - 12.30 – 1pm, Tuesday, 4 June
  • Echuca - 1.30 – 4.30pm, Tuesday, 4 June
  • Colbinabbin – 2 – 2.30pm, Wednesday, 5 June

EOI Echuca War Memorial Artwork

Council is seeking Expression of Interests (EOIs) from suitably qualified and experienced creative professionals/artists to design, develop and install a 3-dimensional creative piece/sculpture, to be located within the Echuca District War Memorial precinct (Hare Street, Echuca). Expressions of Interest close Friday, 14 June. Please direct any questions relating to the EOI to Kris Tito, Arts and Culture Coordinator on 1300 666 535. Campaspe Murray Business Awards

Nominations are now open for the Campaspe Murray Business Awards, showcasing excellence and innovation across a range of business and industry categories. Applications are open to businesses operating within the Campaspe Shire and Murray River Council areas. There are three new categories included this year including Excellence in Marketing, Excellence in Health and Wellbeing and the Community Impact Award.

Mental Health First Aid

Council’s Youth and Recovery Hub teams are offering free, accredited Youth Mental Health First Aid courses, designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills to help adolescents experiencing mental health problems. The cost of this course is subsidised thanks to the Victorian Government’s ‘Engage’ and Emergency Recovery Victoria’s Recovery Hub Program funding. Register for any of the sessions being held in Echuca or Kyabram and Rushworth (blended online and in person) in June. For more information or assistance, contact Council’s Youth Community Development Officer.

Lunch n Links

The Lunch n Link series is an opportunity for the Recovery Hub to provide outreach services across the shire. Join the Recovery Hub, and select services for a few hours of conversation, connection and of course, lunch.
