2025 Campaspe Shire Citizen of the Year Awards

The Citizen of the Year Awards celebrate the achievements and contributions of individuals and community organisations or groups in our region. These prestigious awards are some of the highest honours Council can bestow to publicly acknowledge local heroes. Nominate today for any of the three award categories including Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year, and Community Group of the Year. Green waste accepted for free

In preparation for the upcoming fire season, from 28 October to 10 November residential volumes (up to three cubic metres) of household green waste will be accepted free of charge at seven of Campaspe’s Resource Recovery Centres in Colbinabbin, Echuca, Gunbower, Kyabram (Mt Scobie), Lockington, Rochester, and Rushworth. Toolleen residents are encouraged to take their green waste to Rochester as the Toolleen RRC does not have green waste processing facilities. Project update

The carpark, footpath, kerb and channel works at Rotary Park in Rochester are complete and are open for use by the public. 

Tenders

Tender 24047 Road Rehabilitation Program – Johnson Street, Colbinabbin and Morton Street, Rochester.

Council requires a suitably experienced contactor to complete the above works. A non-compulsory site meeting will be held at 10am on 14 November 2024 starting at the intersection of Johnson Street and Mitchell Street, Colbinabbin.

Tender submissions must be uploaded to the eProcure tender portal on Cuncil's website no later than 2pm on 25 November 2024. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Notice Of Intention to Sell Subject Land

Council gives notice of its intention to sell by private treaty the following parcel of land (the Land):

  • Lot 2 PS134688 comprised in Certificate of Title Volume 01608 Folio 589 being part of 63 Moore Street Rochester carpark to Victoria State Emergency Service Authority and Country Fire Authority for a total of $55,550.00 (GST inclusive).

The proposed sale will be subject to contractual terms satisfactory to Council.

Any person may make a submission on the proposal to sell the Land. Any person wishing to make a submission can do so in writing by Wednesday, 20 November 2024. Following the consideration of any submissions, Council may decide to sell the Land, part of the Land or not to sell the Land.

Submissions should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer and can be delivered to Council at 2 Heygarth Street, Echuca, emailed to [email protected] or posted to Campaspe Shire Council, PO Box 35, Echuca 3564.

Submissions received on the proposed sale of the Land may be included in the Council Agenda and Minutes published on Council’s website, including the personal information of the submitter. Please indicate in your submission if you do not wish your personal information to be identified in the Agenda and Minutes.
