Kinder Registrations

Registrations for three and four year old kindergarten programs in Campaspe Shire are open for the 2023 year. Applications must be submitted prior to Thursday, 30 June. For all information and to apply, go to Council’s website.

Nominations are now open for the Campaspe Murray Business Awards, showcasing excellence and innovation across a range of business and industry categories. Receive your Rates Notice via Email

Council now offers residents the option to receive their rate notice electronically via email. To make the change from paper mail to email, visit the ’your rates’ section on Council’s website and complete the request to change form.

Review

Regulation for waste tyre use and storage on farms
The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) is seeking feedback on a new registration process for farms storing and using waste tyres for producing silage. This new registration would replace the current licence and registration requirement for this activity. For full details on the proposed draft amendment regulations, regulatory impact statement, and how to make comment visit www.engage.vic.gov.au Community feedback closes on Monday, 27 June.

Rate Payments

To support the community during the coronavirus pandemic, interest on unpaid rates was not charged for the period 1 July 2021 through to 30 June 2022. Interest on unpaid rates will be charged from 1 July 2022. Ratepayers experiencing financial difficulty in paying rates are encouraged to make contact with Council to discuss your situation.

Library Services Support Volunteer

Do you have a passion for books and lifelong learning? We have an exciting opportunity available for a Library Services Support Volunteer to join the team at the Campaspe Library.
