Tender 21026

Supply and delivery of five utilities with trade

Council invites tenders for the supply and delivery of five utilities to specification with trade in.

Tender closes at 2pm on 10 June.

Rate Instalment Due Soon

Ratepayers who pay their rates in instalments are reminded the last instalment for 2020/21 is due on Monday, 31 May. Any ratepayer facing genuine financial hardship in paying their rates is urged to contact Council as soon as possible to discuss their individual circumstances.

Council has waived interest on current outstanding rates and changes until 30 June 2021. Any rates or charges outstanding after this date will incur interest.

Notice of Intention to Sell Land

Council gives notice under section 189 of the Local Government Act 1989 (Act) of its intention to sell by private treaty the following parcels of land (the Land):

  • Lot 1 on proposed PS845968M, comprised in Certificate of Title Volume 11474 Folio 506 known as Bendigo Murchison Road, Colbinabbin, to Neil Lund for a total of $10,560.00 (GST inclusive).
  • Lot 2 on proposed PS845968M, comprised in Certificate of Title Volume 11474 Folio 506 known as Bendigo Murchison Road, Colbinabbin, to Richard John Avard and Glenys Anne Avard for a total of $3,080.00 (GST inclusive).
  • Lot 3 on proposed PS845968M, comprised in Certificate of Title Volume 11474 Folio 506 known as Bendigo Murchison Road, Colbinabbin, to Darryl Rathjen and Eril Rathjen for a total of $13,860.00 (GST inclusive).

The proposed sale will be subject to contractual terms satisfactory to Council.

Any person may make a submission on the proposal to sell the Land. Any person wishing to make a submission can do so in writing by Friday, 25 June 2021. All submissions will be considered in accordance with section 223 of the Act. Following the consideration of any submissions, Council may decide to sell the Land, part of the Land or not to sell the Land.

Submissions should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer and can be delivered to Council’s Civic Centre at 2 Heygarth Street, Echuca, emailed to [email protected] or posted to Campaspe Shire Council, PO Box 35, Echuca, 3564.

Submissions received on the proposed sale of the Land may be included in the Council Agenda and Minutes published on Council’s website, including the personal information of the submitter. Please indicate in your submission if you do not wish your personal information to be identified in the Agenda and Minutes.

Any person requesting to be heard in support of his or her submission is entitled to be heard before Council (or its committee established by Council for this purpose), or represented by a person acting on his or her behalf, and will be notified of the time and date of the hearing.
